The HMP9 compact temperature and humidity probe is specially designed for easy installation in rapidly changing environments.Fast response times, measurement performance and chemical tolerance are essential in these environments. Its compact size allows it to fit in tight Spaces, with the probe measuring just 5 mm (0.2 in) in diameter.For pipe and laboratory installation, the probe can be installed using a pipe installation kit.

HMP9 further enriched the Indigo product range, especially in dryers, air handling units, data centers, test chambers, and other humidity measurements where the temperature is lower than 120 °C (248 °F) and no high pressure is involved. The HMP9 is compatible with the Indigo200 series of mainframe devices and Insight computer software.

Main Advantages:

Compact probe: The 5mm diameter probe contains a new generation HUMICAP® sensor that provides industry-standard humidity measurement performance. HMP9 is a stable instrument with fast response and low wet hysteresis in a variety of applications.

Significantly reduced contaminant impact: In environments with high concentrations of chemicals and cleaners, the chemical removal option heats the sensor to remove harmful chemicals, helping the probe maintain measurement accuracy throughout the calibration cycle. Chemical removal operations can be initiated either manually or programmatically at set intervals.

Flexible connection: The probe is plug and play, compatible with the Vessala Indigo series transmitter, the latter is a multi-purpose, multi-type connection interface instrument, analog signal or digital signal output, can also be configured with relay and WLAN configuration interface. It can also be used as a stand-alone digital Modbus RTU transmitter on the RS-485 serial bus. For easy access to the various functions of field calibration, device analysis and configuration, the probe can be connected to the Visala Insight software.
